  • Successful integration with Taiwan Digital Identity Wallet (TW DIW) or demonstration of credential issuance, presentation, and verification processes
  • Complete service workflow within the application scenario (e.g., borrowing books, check-in, verification)
  • System robustness and feasibility for real-world deployment

20% Innovation in Digital Identity Wallet Application Scenarios

  • Demonstrates innovative use of technology
  • Application scenario shows breakthrough or forward-thinking concepts
  • User interface or user context introduces novel and engaging interactions

20% Scenario & Service Flow Rationality

  • Clear and feasible user roles and data flows
  • Demonstrates core processes of “Authorization → Usage → Verification → Record”
  • Provides descriptions of service flow, interaction roles, and user context

15% User Experience (UX)

  • Interaction design is intuitive, seamless, and context-appropriate
  • Includes user guidance, error handling, and feedback mechanisms
  • Considers diverse user contexts (e.g., elderly, mobile devices, offline usage)

10% Originality & Presentation

  • Demonstrates unique ideas and creative perspectives

  • The competition has two groups: Open Group and Student Group, each with Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up, and Merit Awards.
  • Each group will have 6 winning teams, totaling 12 winning teams.
  • Champions (1 per group) receive NT$110,000; 1st Runner-up NT$50,000; 2nd Runner-up NT$30,000; Merit Award 3 teams per group, NT$20,000 each.
  • Total prize pool: NT$500,000.

  • Parking Options:
    • Everlight Underground Parking: ~NT$40–50/hour, elevator to conference center
    • Ren’ai Underground Parking: ~5 min walk, weekday all-day ~NT$200, weekend all-day ~NT$300

Note: Declaration of tax amount for innovation and R&D expenses of activities

  • According to Taiwan Income Tax Law (Articles 14 & 89), competition innovation prizes are considered “Other Income” and must be declared. The organizer will withhold taxes according to current law and issue withholding certificates to winners.
  • Withholding rates:
    • Domestic individuals: 10% for amounts exceeding NT$20,000
    • Foreign participants: 20% (depending on residency and nationality)
  • Prize distribution: Team representative receives the award and is responsible for legal declaration and allocation. Required documents: ID / Resident Certificate / Passport copy, and bank account copy.
  • Publication requirement: All winning teams must upload their projects to the Public Code Platform (https://code.gov.tw) within 10 days after the finals, passing security review and open-source licensing procedures to receive prize money. Failure to comply may result in delayed or revoked disbursement.
